Winter Shelter Christmas Day Dinner Donations and Volunteering
    Monday, December 25
Each year BZBI cooks and serves 20 men who reside in the Trinity Church at 22nd and Spruce Streets. It’s a wonderful experience for all involved as we “break bread” together. You can participate in a number of ways.

    1. Click here to select an item or items to drop off at the church (on or before December 25th).
    2. Click here to set up and serve.
    3. Or both, bring food and spend the evening with us!

Dropping off food? Food drop off times are any day from 6:00-7:00 PM at the Trinity Playschool Group red door, the entrance is on Spruce Street. Knock or ring the basement bell and someone will take your food and bring it down.*Important – please label your food packages clearly with the following: Dec 25th Dinner, Contents, e.g. Chicken dinner, Directions for warming, serving, etc.

Interested in setting up and serving? Great! Come to the Church at 7:00 PM. Look for the Trinity Playschool Group red door along the Spruce side of the church. We tend to serve the men from 7-8:30 PM depending on the night and how many men come back to the shelter for the evening. Important to note: the shelter is in the basement of the Church with a rather steep staircase down. It’s tight quarters. There is no elevator and children under 10 are not advised to come, but are always welcome to help their parents bake and cook!
