BZBI, where you worship

Weekday Services

BZBI welcomes anyone interested in daily or Shabbat minyan (worship services) to take part in our spirited and warm prayer community. We offer opportunities for prayer and community every morning, on Monday afternoons, and on the first Friday night of each month. Our First Friday Kabbalat Shabbat also offers two dinner options: an early dinner at 5:00 PM and a late dinner at 7:15 PM. Dinner reservations must be made in advance, no later than the Monday prior to the First Friday Kaballat Shabbat

Weekday morning service times change for Festivals (9:30 AM) and most Federal holidays (9:00 AM). Please contact the Temple Office if you have questions about a specific date. Click here for High Holy Days information.

The chart below shows all of our regular weekday and Shabbat service times and locations:

*In order to more effectively provide minyanim for those observing Yahrzeit, we are now offering Evening Zoom Minyan on Tuesdays through Thursdays only when we are advised in advance of a Yahrzeit observance. If you would like us to convene a minyan for a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday evening, please contact the Temple Office at 215-735-5148 at least two working days in advance. We encourage everyone to join the BZBI Minyan Alerts WhatsApp group for the most up-to-date information about weekday services.

Zoom Access

BZBI offers Zoom access for all in-person services except First Fridays. In addition, we are still transitioning some of our Daily Morning Minyan services from Zoom to multi-access (see chart above for specific details). You can click here for online Zoom services here; once registered, you will receive an email with an individualized meeting ID link that can be used for all religious services that offer Zoom access, so save the email in a safe place.

Please note: Rabbi Mort’s Torah study class continues without change at approximately 8:15 AM after the Wednesday minyan.

Shabbat & Holiday Services

Multi-access Kabbalat Shabbat and Shabbat morning services have taken place in the Goldberg Sanctuary and on Zoom since June 2021. To join us via Zoom, click here.

9:30 AM: Shabbat morning (in the Goldberg Sanctuary and Online)

Please check specific holiday pages (shown to your left) for service times.
