Kadima Goes to the Franklin Institute

March 16, 2016

image1Our latest Kadima event took us to the Franklin Institute, where we refreshed our memory of the classic exhibits, as well as, learned from the new ones. None of us had been there in a long time and it was a nice reminder of how fun that museum can be! It was our first event at a museum, and it was great to see the kids facing off against each other in some of the SportsZone activities and then right afterwards, working together to build the best robot in the outer space exhibition! In our effort to build community outside of BZBI, going to the Franklin Institute allowed the kids to both compete and collaborate, all while enjoying each other’s company.image2

If you are unfamiliar with the Kadima program, it is an opportunity for students in 4th-7th grades to socialize with their friends from Hebrew school outside of the classroom setting. It is incredible how much we can learn from and about each other when we interact in different situations and Kadima is here to provide that experience.

Our next event will be on Sunday, March 20th from 2:00-4:00 PM at Dave and Buster’s! Contact Segev Yarden if you would like to join in on the fun!
