As attacks on the LGBT community have grown in the last several months, BZBI has invited Galia Godel, Program Manager of the LGBTQ Initiative at Philadelphia’s Jewish Family and Children’s Services, to speak to our congregation after kiddush. Galia will explain concepts related to gender and sexuality, take questions from the community, and speak about ways that BZBI can continue to support our queer and trans members. If you are part of the LGBTQ community or have queer and trans family members, you are also warmly invited to speak about your own experiences.
