Join BZBI in an alternative spiritual journey into the heart of Shabbat through yogic movement, meditation and song with Dr. Deborah Glassman. Deborah is a certified yoga teacher and practices and studies an alignment based flow style yoga. Join us for our annual end of the year pot-luck dinner welcoming our new families, acknowledging parent volunteers, and our Early Childhood teachers. Join us as we celebrate the wonderful teachers we have in our community. We invite all our Youth & Family faculty, Early Childhood educators, and school administrators to a Shabbat in their honor. Marom Kabbalat Shabbat

AIPAC Policy Conference: Two Personal Stories

Elle Baker, a freshman at Central High School and a member of BZBI’s 2019 confirmation class, attended the AIPAC Policy Conference for the first time this year.  In an after-Kiiddush discussion on May 18, she will discuss her experience and impressions with Rabbi Batya Glazer, the director of the Jewish Community Relations Council of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, who has been involved with AIPAC since she was an AIPAC intern as a college senior.
