Online Discussion Series: Confronting Racism as Jews

May 13 2020, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Co-sponsored by the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, and Temple Beth Zion-Beth Israel, Rabbi Batya Glazer will facilitate a series of webinars featuring discussions on racism. The JCRC and BZBI previously collaborated – along with the ADL, AJC, and the Kaiserman JCC – on the Philadelphia Civil Rights Mission to Georgia and Alabama.

Rabbi Glazer, Director of the Philadelphia JCRC, will provide a forum to engage around issues of racism as members of the Jewish community. With memories of the Philadelphia Civil Rights Mission still fresh, we invite discussion participants to delve deeply into issues of racism in the United States, and how our identities as Jews are an influence on our views and understandings.
