BZBI will welcome Elad Strohmayer, the Spokesperson of the Embassy of Israel to the United States, back to Philly as part of Philadelphia’s Shabbat Gatherings in honor of Israel 75.
Elad was an integral member of the Philadelphia community when he served as Deputy Consul General at the Consulate General of Israel to the Mid-Atlantic Region from 2012 to 2015. As the Israeli Embassy’s spokesperson in Washington DC, he now serves as a resource for editors, journalists, and broadcasters to receive information and official statements on issues relating to Israel, notably in the areas of politics, economics, middle east affairs, culture, and energy.
Upon his return to BZBI, Elad will engage us in a conversation about Israel at 75 after Shabbat Kiddush.
