American Birthright: Film and Discussion

November 14 2021, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM

“What does it mean to be an American Jew?” This is the question that Becky Tahel ponders when her younger sister marries outside the faith. The action inspires Becky to probe deeper into her Jewish identity through a physical and spiritual journey that enlightens and helps her further embrace her Jewishness. With universal appeal and a Philly connection, this light-hearted and intimate documentary will resonate with anyone who’s ever struggled with a sense of identity and purpose.

  • Available for streaming beginning on Sunday, November 7 at 10:00 AM for one week.
  • Available in-person on Wednesday, November 10 at 7:00 PM at the National Museum of American Jewish History
