Summary of February Board Meeting

January Report Summaries:

Membership: A representative from USCJ met with the committee to provide information on alternative dues models, financial sustainability, and engagement.

Ritual and HR: For HH, a choir was authorized and Rabbi Goldman signed a contract.

Discussion: ED Report: details the grant proposal to enhance our synagogue security were discussed, including cameras, two-way radios and picture ID’s for those who do non-prayer business in synagogue.

Development Report: Our Annual Giving is still well ahead of last year’s totals at the same time. We are launching a campaign to make our congregants feel more engaged with the synagogue, through shared stories.

President’s Report: An advisory committee for Rabbi Annie has been selected. Rabbi Abe said the layout in sanctuary might be changed to encourage a higher density of people for regular Shabbat prayer.
