Shabbat Speakers on January 28, 2023 – Honoring Phyllis Kramer

Phyllis Kramer worked for BZBI for 37 years, and has been a part of the BZBI community for 40 years. Originally from Philadelphia, Phyllis lived in Rittenhouse Square for the majority of her working life, and raised her children there with her husband Jack.

She started working at BZBI when there was only a typewriter on her desk. Phyllis worked alongside five different Rabbis, ten Board Presidents and six Executive Directors.

When Phyllis was asked what her favorite part of BZBI was, she noted “the people, definitely the people, our congregants, the friends I have made, and everyone who worked with me in the office over the years.”

She has made such an impact on everyone at BZBI and will be missed tremendously.
