Follow an Exciting New Campaign: 100 Days. 100 Letters
We are proud to join Congregant Lisa Weinberger in announcing the launch of a grassroots initiative titled “American Values Religious Voices: 100 Days. 100 Letters.” Organized in collaboration with Andrea L. Weiss, Associate Professor of Bible at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in New York, the campaign presents the voices of 100 scholars of various religious backgrounds and traditions “to articulate core American values that have grounded our nation in the past and should guide us forward at this time of political transition.” Within the first 100 days of the new administration, the campaign will send a one page letter, each written by one of the participating scholars, to the President, Vice President, and other American political leaders. The initiative hopes to bring our nation’s rich religious and racial diversity to the attention of its leadership and guide us in this transitional period. For more information on the campaign, you can check out its website and for further information and updates, follow on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
