Sisterhood Virtual Challah Bake

February 17 2021, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

This is a two-part program. Join us on Wednesday evening and we’ll all make our challah dough together, with a vegan recipe, ingredient list, and utensil list provided in advance. Then, on Thursday evening we’ll gather again to braid and bake our challah. Once we are done, everyone will have delicious fresh baked challah for Shabbat.

On Thursday evening, Esther McManus, the former head baker at LeBus will be sharing her childhood stories of baking Challah in her native Morocco. Even if you are not planning to bake challah, you may find this talk interesting and you are welcome to join us.

We’ll also talk about Challah for Hunger, the organization which inspires communities to take action against hunger, including the work they do on college campuses to educate and eliminate food insufficiency.

Register in advance for this meeting.
