The fast days of the 17th of Tamuz and 9th of Av, and the mourning period between them, define the Jewish summer. In preparation for this time of reflection and national mourning, we will explore the opening section of Eikhah Rabbah, learning the hallmarks of midrashic style while also delving into some of Judaism’s most important themes and questions.
No prior experience or knowledge of Hebrew is necessary. The cost of attendence is $18 for members and $36 for the general community. Click here to sign up.
Students are warmly encouraged to join the community for Evening Minyan at 5:45 PM immediately before Mourning Midrash.
