Learning to read and understand basic Hebrew opens a world of opportunities for worship. Would you like to be able to comfortably follow along in the prayer book? Are you planning to read Torah for the congregation someday? Do you simply want to be able to easily tell each letter on the dreidel apart?
Join us by Zoom to learn the basics of Hebrew reading, pronunciation, and comprehension. This is a class for those with no background in the language, even if you can’t tell alef from tof. Beginning in October 2021 and ending in April 2022, this class will provide a strong foundation for liturgical Hebrew.
This course will be taught by Ella Rose an Israeli-American with a deep love for the Hebrew language, her cultural roots, nature, and creative expression.
In order to effectively work on reading aloud and pronouncing Hebrew, this class will be held online.
