Rabbi Yitzhak Hutner (1906-1980), a leader of America’s Haredi (ultra-Orthodox) community, was also one of the most original and challenging thinkers in Jewish history. His writings, which he collected under the heading of hilkhot de’ot ve-hovot ha-levavot (Character Paths and the Heart’s Commitments), use the Jewish holidays as a framework for understanding the deeper levels of Jewish spiritual experience. Join Rabbi Abe as we dive into Rav Hutner’s teachings on Pesah. English translation will be offered for all texts and no prior experience is required.
The initial five week class will take place on five Wednesdays, February 2 – March 9 from 7:00 to 8:00 PM. The cost is $18 for members of BZBI and $36 for members of the general community.
