One of the author’s family members, whom he discusses in the book, his Aunt Ayala, will join us in-person to answer questions about the Sabar family experience — from Kurdish Iraq, to Israel, and then the United States — and offer her own perspective to the story. There are rumors that the Middle Eastern liquor, Arak, will be poured for in-person attendees.
