Dr. Michael Weisberg D’var Torah

Dr. Michael Weisberg is the Bess W. Heyman President’s Distinguished Professor of Philosophy at the University of Pennsylvania. He also serves as Deputy Director of Perry World House, which analyzes global policy challenges through the perspectives of climate, democracy, global justice and human rights, and security. Michael also directs the Global Education and Research Alliance, and is a Non-resident Senior Advisor for the International Peace Institute. He is a Life Member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Weisberg has been selected to lead the implementation of Penn’s antisemitism task force recommendations. In an intimate, off-the-record talk at our last Urban Shabbaton, Michael spoke about his experiences engaging in diplomacy with leaders at home and abroad.
