BZBI Preschool Students Participate in Mitzvah Project

The children in the Violet Room at Temple Beth Zion-Beth Israel preschool are so happy to experience a wonderful, inter-generational relationship with the KleinLife Active Adult Life program. The children prepared 75 breakfast bags to deliver to the Philadelphia Jewish Federation. Lead Teacher Merissa Richmond along with her Teacher Assistant, Joanne Maza, worked with their class to decorate and pack breakfast bags for the senior adults. Last year, they visited during Purim and sang a medley of Purim songs, while dressed in costumes and participated in a Purim Spiel with Rabbi Janis. Both the children and the seniors benefit greatly from these interactions.
