In June, BZBI joined POWER (Philadelphians Organized to Witness, Empower and Respond), a grassroots organization committed to racial and economic justice on a livable planet. BZBI is now one of over 50 congregations in Pennsylvania who are part of POWER’s interfaith and multi-racial people’s movement.
The BZBI POWER Committee is launching a Listening Campaign from October through December- we will be listening to YOU! Through 1:1 conversations, we will be connecting deeply over our stories, learning what you care about, and what keeps you up at night, what compels you into action, and who you want to take action with.
Based on what we learn, we will develop a plan for meaningful and effective action for our congregation. Once you sign up here, one of our committee members will follow up to schedule a conversation with you!
