Rabbi Friedman’s Invocation at Philadelphia’s City Council Meeting
On Thursday, February 4th, Rabbi Friedman was invited by Council Member At-Large Allan Domb to give the Invocation at the City Council meeting. His message is below:
מקור החיים, Source of Life, we thank you for the gift of this day and the opportunity to serve our community. We ask that you open our hearts to our neighbors in need, to the widow and the orphan, the stranger and the outcast. Bless us with compassion and strength; help the work of our hands to flourish and grow; and bless our city with health, safety, and prosperity, Amen.
