Tot Shabbat

BZBI Tot Shabbat is a Shabbat morning program geared towards the youngest members of our community. This program is perfect for children aged infant through 3 years and their families. The morning begins with a free play period followed by a Shabbat celebration that includes prayer, song, stories, dance, games and our own Kiddush.

Over the summer Tot Shabbat will occur on these dates: June 23, July 7, July 21, August 4, and August 18.

Bonim (builders!) is our Shabbat morning program that was created for our children who are between the ages of 4 and 5 years old. These are children who have outgrown Tot Shabbat, but are not quite old enough to begin Hebrew School. Children may arrive as early as 10:00 AM as we have childcare until a classroom becomes available and the morning ends with the singing of Adon Olam on the bimah in the Goldberg Sanctuary.

The morning is filled with activities and fun that will focus on learning about Jewish holidays, mitzvot, and Jewish values. The Bonim children join with our Gan class for a sweet, developmentally appropriate Shabbat service.

Parents are required to register children for Bonim. For additional information you may contact Shula.

Bonim is funded by a generous gift from Gregg Kanter, continuing the work of his late wife, Sheri Rosenberg.
