Tot Shabbat

BZBI Tot Shabbat is a Shabbat morning celebration geared towards the youngest members of our community. This program is perfect for children aged infant through 3 years and their families. Our Tot Shabbat celebration includes Shabbat songs, stories, opportunities to move around and dance, and our own Kiddush.

Tot Shabbat takes place from 11:15 AM – 12:00 PM during the school year on Shabbat mornings when Hebrew School is in session. We also have special Tot Shabbat events planned during the summer (more information about summer 2022 programs are on the way!).

For details, please contact Rabbi Max, our Director of Youth and Family Education, at education@bzbi.org.

Bonim

Bonim (builders!) is our Shabbat morning program for children who are in pre-K (4 and 5 years old). Bonim is a joyous introduction to BZBI’s Neziner Hebrew School, and features play-based learning, Shabbat-friendly crafts, stories and music.

The morning is filled with activities and fun that will focus on learning about Jewish holidays, mitzvot, and Jewish values. The Bonim children join with our Gan class for a sweet, developmentally appropriate Shabbat service.

Parents are required to register children for Bonim using the Youth and Family registration form.
