Youth & Family Sleep Under

January 20 2018, 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM

It’s time for one of the best events of the year! BZBI children in grades 2nd through 7th are invited to spend an evening of fun at the synagogue with food, music, games, and activities. While the kids are having a great time, parents are invited to join us at a nearby restaurant.

This event is free, but we would like to have a head count and make sure we are aware of any allergies or food restrictions. Please let us know who’s coming by filling out this short form.

What’s in it for the kids?

Short Havdalah service.

Light dinner.

Escape the Room (חֲדַר בְּרִיחָה / Chadar Bricha) activity.

Tikkun Olam Project: During our sleep-under the children will be making centerpiece baskets full of children’s items for the tables at our Volunteer Brunch and Shabbat Shirah Dinner. After the events all items in the baskets will be donated to JAFCO, Jewish Adoption and Family Care Options, an agency providing family preservation, foster care, and adoption services for at risk children and those with developmental disabilities in the Greater Philadelphia and South Jersey communities. Suggested donations include: books, kids/baby clothing, games, toys, school supplies, baby items.

What’s on the table for parents?

Parent’s are invited to join us from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM at Devon Restaurant (225 S 18th Street). A separate Evite will be sent.
