RH²: Rosh Hashanah in Rittenhouse Square

September 9 2018, 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM

Shana Tovah!

Due to the weather, we will be moving our RH² celebration inside to Temple Beth Zion – Beth Israel, at 300 South 18th Street. We look forward to singing, dancing, and praying together in the Goldberg Sanctuary. RH²  will begin at 5:30 PM.

As we are now meeting inside our Sanctuary, and unable to eat in the space, we ask that you not bring a picnic dinner. Aside from that, our celebration will remain the same family-friendly, inter-generational Rosh Hashanah celebration you have come to expect.

Thank you for understanding. We look forward to welcoming the New Year together!

Celebrating the Jewish High Holy Days is as easy as a walk in the park. Join us once again in Rittenhouse Square and mark the New Year with an evening of spirited music and a family-friendly service.

RH² is FREE and open to the public.

Read Rabbi Yosef’s reflections on RH2 here.

5:30 PM
Concert with the Marom Band, led by BZBI’s Rabbi Yosef Goldman, with Lori Turner of Music Monkey Jungle as the opening act.

6:30 PM
Traditional service for Rosh Hashanah Eve led by the BZBI clergy.

Bring a lawn chair • Grab a blanket • Pack a picnic

No formal attire required.

Volunteers Needed
Planning on attending?  Want to help make RH² a great event for everyone? Please email Terri Soifer if you are interested in volunteering.
