Online: The Story of the Irish Torah by Ira Siegal

July 23 2020, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Longtime BZBI member Ira Siegal will share the story of a family heirloom, a Sefer Torah, originally from the town of Oshmyany (now Belarus) that made its way to Dublin and then to Philadelphia, carried by his grandfather Isaac Schreider in 1908.

The lecture was presented in February 2020 to the Jewish Genealogical and Archival Society of Greater Philadelphia. We are pleased to be able to host Ira in an encore presentation of this well received lecture.

We require pre-registration to attend all events, and you can register here for access.
