On One Foot: An Introduction to Judaism for Everyone

On One Foot: An Introduction to Judaism for Everyone

January 4 2021, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Judaism is a world unto itself, encompassing rituals, ideas, and thousands of years of history. If you’ve been curious about Jewish learning but didn’t know where to start, this is the place for you! The American Jewish University’s On One Foot curriculum covers all of the essentials in an interactive format that encourages personal engagement. Join Rabbi Abe Friedman, Rabbi Annie Lewis, and other local rabbis, for a year-long adventure in Jewish learning.

This course is ideal for students seeking a basic orientation to fundamental Jewish concepts.

Tuition is $180 for BZBI members and $250 for the general community. Register through the form below. There is a separate registration process for students interested in conversion (see below). If you require financial assistance, please reach out to the Temple Office.

This class is offered in cooperation with the Rabbi Morris Goodblatt Academy Introduction to Judaism Program. Students interested in conversion should register through the Goodblatt website and schedule an appointment to meet with one of the BZBI rabbis.

We are offering a Basic Prayerbook Hebrew class to complement this course. For On One Foot students, this class is discounted to $50. You can learn more here.
