Have you ever thought about having a Kosher kitchen? What does it mean to be Kosher? Is it just not having a cheeseburger or shellfish? Is it something more? Why do Jews keep Kosher? What is the hallachic guidance we follow? Join us as we begin to answer these questions in the first of a series of conversations about keeping Kosher and how you can do so in your own home. It is easier than you may think. Practical logistics such as kitchen set-up will be matched by religious texts explaining the foundation – and then some field trips to congregants’ kitchens to see it all in practice!
The first session will be held after Kiddush on Saturday, April 1. The will be held on Sunday, April 2, RSVP to the Temple Office for details (215-735-5148).
