DESCRIPTION:On Shabbat morning\, May 15 from 9:30 – 11:30 AM\, confirmation students will lead services\, share words of Torah and mark this milestone of their Jewish education in community. \n\n\nOn Sunday evening\, May 16 from 6:00 – 7:20 PM\, come learn from our Confirmation students as part of the Erev Shavuot learning line up. They will be sharing their perspectives about what Judaism says about caring for animals and the environment\, caring for our bodies and minds\, the origins of Purim\, why Judaism requires us to help those in need\, and innovative ideas about Jewish education. \n\nThe ceremony marks a milestone in our students’ formal Jewish education\, launching them into their next stage of learning and commitment to Jewish community. Join us to celebrate the Confirmation Class of 5781! \n\n\nOur Confirmation students this year are: \n\nJordan Bailkin\nJonnah Berger\nBecca Bushee\nBrooke Carrier\nJacob Hoffberg\nHalle Levinson\nSidney Weinbaum Mandel\n\n\n\n\nBoth Confirmation events will be held on the BZBI religious services and study sessions Zoom link.
