DESCRIPTION:The BZBI community is invited to join BZBI Brit Mitzvah families on Sunday\, April 30 at 10:00 AM for a special screening of the documentary film Praying with Lior (location is TBD and will be announced soon). Released in 2008\, Praying with Lior was directed by BZBI’s own Ilana Trachtman. \nWinner of multiple awards and acclaimed by audiences around the world\, Praying with Lior asks whether someone with Down syndrome can be a spiritual genius. Following Lior and his family as he prepares for his bar mitzvah\, the film explores important themes such as family\, spirituality\, accessibility\, and inclusion.
