Use Our Facilities

Temple Beth Zion synagogue held its first services in our breathtaking neo-Gothic former church in 1946. Later, Temple Beth Zion merged in 1964 with Temple Beth Israel, founded in 1840.

Today, Temple Beth Zion-Beth Israel (BZBI) is a fixture of Center City, just a block from Philadelphia’s Rittenhouse Square. It is a vibrant congregation of about 440 households that practices Conservative Judaism with egalitarian worship. Our facilities include a 750 seat sanctuary, three auditoriums and a chapel.  Facilities can be reserved by members of the community with sponsorship by a BZBI member.
